"Assessing The Risk" must
clearly demonstrate what all organisations and person should realistically be
expected to know about the risks they face and how to successfully manage,
mitigate, transfer or accept those risks.
“Assessing The Threat” should reflect a full comprehension of the threats, their sources, their capabilities, their potential impact and any and all actions necessary to prevent, manage or mitigate the threats. “Assessing The Vulnerability” focuses both on consequences both primary and secondary of an incident. It also concerns itself with the possibilities of reducing such consequences and of improving the capacity to manage future incidents. Experience has shown that this structured approach enables our clients, either on a routine basis or for the first time, to efficiently and cost effectively manage and resolve the concerns confronting them. However, if these Risks, Threats, Impacts, Vulnerabilities and Consequences can’t be measured, then in all likelihood people and organisations will not be able to manage themSSSI has experience in managing a wide variety of both local and international risks and threats. A program of on going updates ensures the threat is under constant review and management. Our seasoned personnel are experienced in responding to the client's needs, assessing risks and threats, detailing their structure and potential impact and providing recommendations for an effective response. Any audit process is an effective way of highlighting weaknesses or systems failure. This applies to security matters as with any other commercial operation or process. A Risk Identification and Security Profile Analysis (RISPA) is effectively a survey or assessment of your security procedures, protocols, hardware, training and physical protection. The RISPA reviews all aspects of the business to highlight areas that are working and those that are not. The RISPA must also provide commentary on the findings, draw conclusions and produce recommendations as to what action is necessary to improve or enhance the clients security. Whether our clients business is national or international, the RISPA is a structured and uniformed process and provides recommendations for each business area and location in consistent configuration, which allows for ease of implementation. The RISPA is comparable to an in depth medical. It identifies infected areas in a timely fashion, enabling a triage to be instigated thus allowing effective treatment to be provided and thus ensuring a full return to operating and commercial health. |
